ABLE Safety is the international sales channel for ABLE® products from Turvanvuoksi Oy, Finland. We supply personal protective equipment to professionals in healthcare, social care, and education across the Nordics and Europe.
Staff in healthcare, social care, and education face situations every day in which clients or pupils may behave aggressively. Despite this, in most cases there is no adequate protective equipment available.
ABLE® products were developed to fill that gap: CE-marked protective equipment that is soft enough not to harm the person in your care, yet robust enough to protect the person wearing it.
Founded in 2015 in Pornainen, Finland, by Tomi Jokivalli and Janne Korhonen. Both founders bring more than 20 years of experience in policing and the security industry. The company began by delivering safety training. That training work made one thing clear: there was no working protective equipment for the situations staff actually faced. The ABLE® product line was developed to solve that problem.

20 years of policing experience. More than a decade of preventative police work in crime prevention, counter-radicalisation, and honour-based violence. 25 years of experience identifying and responding to mental health and social problems across all age groups. 18 years as a trainer.
ABLE® products are designed in Finland. The Safety Jacket is manufactured within the EU. The Safety Sleeve is manufactured in Finland from Finnish Cutlon® fabric supplied by OR Knitwear. The Safety Cushion is manufactured in Estonia (EU). All materials meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. All products are CE-marked under EU Regulation 2016/425.
